MacArthur JROTC navigators compete at Camp Bullis
The MacArthur JROTC Brahma Battalion Orienteering teams finished in 2nd place overall at the 36th annual St. Mary’s Meet at Camp Bullis Saturday, Feb. 23. Four MacArthur teams laced up to compete in the rough terrain at Camp Bullis. Each team was given 90 minutes to plot points on a map and then hit the trails to find them. Each team logged an average of five miles in total distance during the contest. The advancing teams will compete in the 5th Brigade Orienteering Meet on March 23 at Camp Bullis.
Male Advanced Team: Brandon Groff, William Allen, Hunter Ballard and Brian Below (2nd place overall)
Female Advanced Team: Taylor Rogers, Angeline Inocencio, Ana Baba, and Larissa Dretke (1st place overall)
Male Novice Team: Tyler Brown, Gabriel Brown, Jay Walker and Juan Hernandez (2nd place overall)
Female Novice Team: Sloan Cicognani, Noelle Collier, Ananda Valles and Kendall Liberman (1st place overall)
