MacArthur JROTC teams compete at US Open Raider Challenge

The MacArthur High School JROTC male and female teams were named overall champions in the advanced category of the US Open Raider Challenge at Camp Bullis. On Saturday, Dec. 8, more than 500 cadets in 48 teams from across the San Antonio and Houston laced up to compete in multiple physically challenging events.

The teams are comprised of 12 cadets, with 10 competing in each event. The male and female teams navigated through six events, including a rope bridge, obstacle course, and 5K run. The MacArthur male and female teams performed exceptionally well and were named overall champions in the advanced category.
