School Choice window extended, moves online

North East ISD works diligently to ensure that students have the broadest possible range of individualized experiences and opportunities. The School Choice program offers families the opportunity to explore other campus options within our District. Under School Choice, parents/guardians can submit an application requesting their K-12th grade child be transferred to another school within the District other than the one serving their residence.

NEISD is excited to announce that we are extending the enrollment period for School Choice by one month. This year, we have also moved to electronic applications instead of the previous paper forms, which will help simplify the process. School Choice applications for the 2019-2020 school year will be accepted on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018 at 7:20 a.m. and end at the close of school business on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019. 

Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis with applicants receiving notification of the status of their School Choice request on or before the last day of May.
