What a stroke of genius!
The North East ISD World Languages Department is excited to announce the winners of our third-annual poster contest. This year’s theme was ‘Level Up With World Languages.’
Wood Middle School sixth grader Max Bugarin and Legacy of Educational Excellence (LEE) High School sophomore Lea Granado finished 1st overall in their very competitive middle and high school divisions.
Max and his art teacher, Stephanie Turner, and Lea and her Chinese teacher, Xueling Xu, were both surprised with the good news this week. Both students and teachers received a framed portrait of their painting, and students took home an additional certificate of achievement.
