North East ISD Dental Assisting Teacher Sonya Brown knows a thing or two about perfection.
Over the past five years, every one of Brown’s students taking the Registered Dental Assistant Exam has passed. That’s a very impressive 100% pass rate.
For five years straight, every high school student enrolled in the Dental Assistant program at our Career and Technology Education Center (CTEC) has earned their license as a Registered Dental Assistant.
While Brown has many favorite parts of the job, this may top them all.
“My favorite part of my job is when I see all of my students successfully pass the Registered Dental Assistant Exam to receive their licenses,” said Brown. “With this, they are able to start a career in the dental field after they graduate high school.”
Our Dental Assisting course teaches the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the Texas Registered Dental Assisting Exam. That includes a wide range of dental procedures, recognition of equipment, tools, terminology and more.
