The end of the traditional school year is almost here. I want to start by saying thank you. We all know that safety isn’t always convenient. All year long, you partnered with us to ensure our schools remain a safe place where every child can learn and succeed.
Please continue that momentum during the break. Students, staff and visitors will be on our campuses in the summer months for our many summer school sessions, camps and programs. Remember, our tipline (neisd.net/tipline) is available to submit anonymous reports 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can also call NEPD’s non-emergency line at the number on your screen (210-407-0925).
If you can, please take a moment to thank our wonderful teachers and support staff before the end of the year. They work so hard to care for our students in and out of the classroom. Whether that’s driving bus routes, serving meals, arriving early to offer tutoring, or showing up at after-hours games and performances. Our staff truly cares about our students, families and community – and it shows.
You and your family are a vital part of what makes North East ISD such a special place. Thank you for choosing our District and for investing in your neighborhood schools.
Food insecurity doesn’t stop when school is out. That’s why NEISD is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Our cafeteria teams will serve free breakfast and lunch to children 18 years of age and younger at more than 20 campuses over the summer.

El final del año escolar tradicional está casi por llegar. Quiero iniciar dándole las gracias. Todos sabemos que la seguridad no siempre es conveniente. Durante todo el año, nos apoyaron para garantizar que nuestras escuelas sigan siendo un lugar seguro donde todos los niños puedan aprender y tener éxito.
Por favor, continúe ese impulso durante el tiempo de descanso. Los estudiantes, el personal y los visitantes estarán en nuestros campus en los meses de verano para muchas sesiones de la escuela de verano, campamentos y programas.
