If your child is already dreaming of becoming a teacher, you can save money and get ahead on college credits through our MAC UP magnet program.
MacArthur High School’s University Prep magnet gives students who are interested in becoming an educator the chance to earn nearly 60 college credit hours through our partnership with the University of Texas at San Antonio. Our students take college courses during the regular school day with free transportation to and from the UTSA campus at a fraction of the cost, saving them up to 93% on college tuition.
This cost-effective dual enrollment program allows our students to learn from college professors, work in classroom environments and get a head start on fulfilling their dreams. Financially and academically, you can’t beat our MAC UP program.
If MAC UP sounds like a good fit for your child, please visit our Open House event at MacArthur High School next Wednesday, January 25, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Pre-K and kindergarten round up season is also here. You may have seen the news that registration is now open on our District website and social media. If you or someone you know is ready to enroll their child in pre-K or kindergarten for the 2023 – 2024 school, remember a full list of campus round-up dates and times can be found at the link on your screen (neisd.net/roundup). You can start the process today by visiting our registration page (neisd.net/registration).

El imán de preparación universitaria de MacArthur High School brinda a los estudiantes interesados en convertirse en educadores la oportunidad de obtener casi 60 horas de crédito universitario a través de nuestra asociación con la Universidad de Texas en San Antonio.
