We’re just one week away from the 2022 North East Educational Foundation Gala. The annual event raises funds that will directly benefit our students and go right back into our classrooms for years to come.
You may be wondering what NEEF is or how it impacts our District. This non-profit operates with the sole purpose of raising funds to develop and expand new educational opportunities for students across NEISD. The gala is the biggest fundraiser every year that helps raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for innovative teacher grants.
This year’s NEEF Gala starts at 6 p.m. at the Witte Museum next Friday, February 18. If you aren’t able to attend but still want to give back, you can do so by purchasing an auction item or giving a monetary donation.
This year’s slate of auction items features signed sports memorabilia, vacation packages, jewelry, gift baskets and much more. You can place your bid on these items right now by visiting the link in the text (https://hgabid.io/bidapp/index.php?slug=neef).
The theme for this year’s gala is “Reconnect.” I want to thank our fantastic business partners, volunteers and NEEF team for their work in bringing together our community to support our schools, students and teachers.

Estamos a solo una semana de la Gala de la Fundación Educativa del Noreste 2022. El evento anual recauda fondos que beneficiarán directamente a nuestros estudiantes y regresan a nuestras aulas en los próximos años.
Es posible que se pregunte qué es NEEF o cómo afecta a nuestro Distrito. Esta organización sin fines de lucro opera con el único propósito de recaudar fondos para desarrollar y expandir nuevas oportunidades educativas para los estudiantes en todo NEISD. La gala es la mayor recaudación de fondos cada año que ayuda a recaudar cientos de miles de dólares para subvenciones innovadoras para maestros.
La Gala NEEF de este año comienza a las 6 p.m. en el Museo Witte el próximo viernes 18 de febrero. Si no puede asistir pero aún desea retribuir, puede hacerlo comprando un artículo de subasta o aportando una donación monetaria.
