Do you have a catch-up or credit recovery program?
North East ISD provides opportunities for acceleration and/or remediation:
- Summer School at a Texas Public School
- Credit Recovery at an NEISD high school
- NEISD Evening High School
- Correspondence courses through Texas Tech University or TheUniversity of Texas at Austin Online institutions (EHDE LEGAL)
- Correspondence Agreement must be completed with the student’s counselor prior to enrolling in a course
Students wishing to earn credits outside NEISD must begin the process with the student’s high school counselor. Courses taken outside NEISD without a counselor’s approval may result in the district not accepting the credits or cause potential harm to a student athlete’s NCAA eligibility.
It is imperative to consult with the student’s counselor before enrolling/registering a student for any course work outside of the regular school day.
