Back-to-School Mobile Shot Clinic

On Aug. 21, North East ISD will host the Children’s Mobile Unit from University Health System (UHS) to give parents the opportunity to get their children immunized before school starts. This will be the last opportunity before the first day of school which is Aug. 28.

The Mobile Shot Clinic will be located at 10333 Broadway, in the NEISD Annex building parking lot.

NEISD is hosting this event for families covered by private insurance, CHIP, Medicaid and CareLink. Shots are free for those who are uninsured or underinsured.

Families coming to the mobile clinic must bring proof of legal guardianship and shot records. Appointments and walk-ins will be welcomed while supplies last. The mobile unit is scheduled from 2 to 7 p.m.

State law and NEISD policy require medically validated up-to-date records of immunizations to be on file for all students.
