Ms. Tori Johnson

Tori Johnson is the Orchestra Director here at Driscoll Middle School. She grew up in a military family and has traveled across the country during her childhood. Ms. Johnson has always incorporated music into her life and has been playing instruments since childhood. She played the piano for 10 years before beginning to play the viola in high school, where she developed an appreciation for the string orchestra.In 2013, she moved to San Antonio, where she attended Reagan High School and first joined the string orchestra program.Ms. Johnson then graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education in 2021. Ms. Johnson also has professional affiliation with the Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Orchestra Directors Association.

Ms. Johnson is very excited about beginning the school year with Driscoll, and looks forward to making new music and connections with the students through orchestra. She strives to help the students achieve their goals inside and outside the classroom, and help them develop their musical skills to showcase their talents and abilities to the community.
