Ms. Landin received her Bachelor’s in Music Studies - Vocal Emphasis, from Texas State University.  This is her eighth year teaching in NEISD, and her third year teaching at Driscoll - Go Defenders!  She is extremely excited about creating an environment where students feel safe, inspired to work hard, and continue to build confidence in their singing and social skills.

In her achievements, her competing choirs have received Superior Ratings in UIL Concert and Sight-reading (last school year, the Driscoll Competing Group received Superior Ratings from all choral judges and got Sweepstakes!), her choirs have also won Best Overall and Best in Class in the Dallas Classical Choral Competition, and her beginning choirs have won Best Overall in the Schlitterbahn Singing Competition in New Braunfels, TX.  Her varsity choirs have also had the honor of performing the National Anthem at the San Antonio Spurs games, her show choirs have performed for KSAT 12 News, and also had the opportunity to sing holiday carols on the boats of the San Antonio Riverwalk.

Ms. Landin was previously the Head Administrator for the Texas State University All-State Choir Camp and taught private voice lessons for 8 years.  She currently serves as the Music Director at a church in San Antonio.

During her free time, she loves to go on walks with her 13 pound chihuahua (he's all muscle), play piano, travel, try new restaurants, and take care of her plants!

She is looking forward to having a successful school year filled with collaboration, music making, and GROWTH!
