Welcome to 7th and 8th grade ELAR!

This is my fifth year as a Driscoll Defender, but it is my 23rd year teaching and my 15th year in NEISD!  I have always taught English/Language Arts and reading at the middle school level.  I have previously taught at Garner MS and the STEM Academy at Nimitz MS.  I enjoy teaching middle schoolers because they are quirky and fun and are learning so much about themselves and the world.  I am honored to be part of the village that raises your child. I also have 2 sections of yearbook this year.  

I am a campus leader for Summer of Service (www.sossanantonio.org).  This summer I led a group of middle and high schoolers to London/Paris/Madrid!  I am always ready to talk about how to get your child involved in community service and traveling the world.   

I am married, and we have 1 son in NEISD and we have a Beagle who is very spoiled.   I am excited for this school year, and I'm looking forward to a great year!
