Welcome to 7th grade ELAR!

This is my third year as a Driscoll Defender but it is my 21st year teaching and my 13th year in NEISD!  I have always taught English/Language Arts and reading at the middle school levels.  I have previously taught at Garner MS and the STEM Academy at Nimitz MS.   I am a campus leader for Summer of Service (www.sossanantonio.org).  This summer I led a group of middle and high schoolers to Italy and Greece!  Next summer we are planning to travel to Ecuador and The Galapagos Islands. I am always ready to talk about how to get your child involved in community service and traveling the world.   I have been married for 19 years and we have a 12 yr old son who also attends school in NEISD. We adopted a Beagle puppy during the quarantine and she keeps us on our toes.  I am excited for this school year and I'm looking forward to a great year!
