Ms. Danielle Ortiz de Orue

Ms. Ortiz is a native of Fredericksburg, TX and graduated from Fredericksburg High School. At her time at FHS, she was involved in band, choir, jazz band, and marching band. She was a member of the Association of Texas Small School Bands (ATSSB) earning spots in All-Region Choir and Band, All-Area Band, and All-State Band.

After graduating high school, Ms. Ortiz went on to attend Texas State University to earn a bachelor’s degree in Music Studies with an All- Level Music Teacher Certification. While attending Texas State, she studied trumpet with Dr. Robert Cannon and Professor Jack Laumer. She was a member of the Bobcat Marching Band, Bobcat Basketball Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Winds, and Women’s Choir. She is a proud member of Mu Phi Epsilon and was fortunate to have served as Treasurer and President in the Alpha Pi Chapter at Texas State. In 2018 she traveled to Schladming, Austria where she performed with the World Adult Wind Orchestra Project in the Mid Europe Music Festival.

Ms. Ortiz is overjoyed to be starting her teaching career at Roan Forest Elementary School and looks forward to bringing even more success to her students.
