5th grade strings is a wonderful opportunity to learn violin, viola, cello or string bass. I will be out visiting the 5th graders at their elementary campuses during the 3rd week of school. The sign up information will be distributed at that time and I will put the link to the sign up form on this page. Strings will begin on September 18th for Wetmore and Northern Hills and September 19th for Redland Oaks.

A Parent Meeting will be held at Driscoll Middle School on September 11th for more information regarding transportation, materials, events and class expectations. Instruments are not required for the parent meeting, we will have booths from music vendors for parents to rent or purchase instruments at the meeting. Students will need instruments for their first days of class.

Please do not purchase instruments from Amazon. These instruments are not very consistent in quality, and sometimes will need to be heavily assembled. Students with Amazon instruments tend to struggle more due to their instruments not being sturdy, or missing parts.
