• 2023-2024 School Year!

Hello Parents! I am so excited about teaching first grade at Cibolo Green Elementary School.

I was born and raised right here in San Antonio and attended NEISD schools from K-12. I attended Encino Park Elementary School from K-4, then moved to Coker Elementary School for my 4th and 5th grade year. In middle school, I went to Bradley and played violin in the orchestra. When I started high school, I was at Churchill for my freshman year. Then, I attended Reagan the first year it opened and was on the dance/drill team. My senior year, I became the Lt. Colonel of the Silver Star Drill Team.

I graduated from UTSA with a bachelor’s in Human Resources, but always had a passion for teaching. Upon graduation, I went on to pursue my teaching career and became a certified EC-4, ESL teacher in Texas. I have taught in two other districts; Amarillo ISD teaching Kindergarten for one year and Grapevine-Colleyville ISD teaching 1st grade for two years. My husband’s career finally landed us back in San Antonio and I am thrilled to be teaching in the district I grew up in!  When we returned to San Antonio, I got a teaching position at Cibolo Green, and this will be my 13th year at Cibolo Green. However, this is my 16th year teaching and I am excited to see what this year will bring for me and your children. I love teaching!

In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, baking, reading, painting (water color-Let's Make Art), and shopping. I am married to my wonderful husband of 16 years. We have two boys, one in 5th grade and Kinder, both here at CG!!

I look forward to watching your child grow throughout the year and watching their “Ah Ha” moments. Please let me know if there are any questions you may have.

    Here's to a great year!

    Sincerely,
    Mrs. Hrywnak
