I'm happy to be starting a new school year.  My name is Aimee Kelly, and this will be my 25th year of teaching.  Most of my childhood was spent in Illinois, where I loved the winter and seasons along with the big city of Chicago. I graduated from Illinois State University in 2000  with a bachelor's degree in Education. After graduating, I moved to San Antonio and started teaching first grade at Jackson-Keller Elementary School that fall. I've also taught third grade there for 4 years and taught fourth grade for 5 years.  I was campus Teacher of the Year in 2007 and a Superintendent Award recipient in 2010.  In 2016, I was the Campus Teacher of the Year and Trinity Prize Nominee.  This will be my 15th year at Cibolo Green. I taught three years of second grade here and can't wait to teach my 12th year of 4th grade! 

Teaching has been my lifelong passion for as long as I can remember.  One of the greatest gifts is seeing my students thrive and truly enjoy learning.  There has not been one student  I have taught that I haven't genuinely loved.  Always remember that I am here to support you and your child.

I enjoy spending time with my two children and my husband. My 19-year-old old is a student at UT Austin majoring in Physics/Math,  and my 14-year-old will be starting high school.   In my spare time, I  love to spend time with my family and friends, read, crochet, cycle on my Peloton, and listen to music. When football season comes, watch out!  I am a huge Houston Texans fan and love watching my favorite team play! 

I’m excited about meeting my future fourth graders, and I know the 2024-2025 school year is going to be a great year!
