Educational Background
I attended Illinois State University in Bloomington, Illinois. I graduated cum laude in December 2001 with a degree in elementary education with areas of concentration in math, science, social studies, and language arts.  In the summer of 2009,  I completed my master's degree in teacher leadership from Lamar University. 

Teaching Background
This will be my twenty-fourth year in North East ISD. Wow!!  How time flies!!!  I have been at Cibolo Green since the school opened and have taught first, second and now third grade!  

Family and Interests
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 17 years.  We have a fifteen-year-old son named Wyatt.  Wyatt will be a sophomore at MacArthur High School.   He is very active in baseball, so I spend most of my nights and weekends at the ball fields.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I also LOVE to shop and create things using my Cricut!  
I also have one very spoiled dog! Brooklynn is a nine year old chocolate lab mix!
