Judging Criteria

INTRODUCTIONS:

Hello! 

My name is Mr. Anderson and I'm happy to be teaching this year! As a multi-instumentalist, your student will listen to live performance daily on the ukulele, piano, banjo, double-bass, and guitar.

In music, we learn through doing and playing! The students will gain experience over a wide range of musical instruments, including voice, ukulele, percussion, and recorder. We have many opportunities for individual and group performance in and out of class! Out of class, your student will be able to participate in Grade Level PTA Performances. In class students will participate in dancing and singing performances. Your child will also be able to audition for Talent Show which occurs at the end of the school year!!

4th and 5th grade: All of our older students at Cibolo Green are allowed to sign up for Choir!! Choir will have several performances including a Veteran's Day Celebration and a Christmas Sing-A-Long.

5th Grade Only: Our Orchestra Directors at Tex-Hill have graciously offered to teach begining strings! Students in the String Program will be able to choose to play Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass. There is a Evening with Strings performance at the end of the year.
