Mrs. Amy Marinelli
My name is Amy Marinelli. I am a product of NEISD. I attented Encino Park Elementary, Driscoll Middle School, and Churchill High School. In middle and high school I was in the band and played the french horn. I was also a member of the San Antonio Children's Chorus so music has always been a big part of my life. This definitely carries over into my classroom. Singing is incorporated into our everyday learning!
I graduated from Texas State University (formerly known as Southwest Texas State) in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (EC-4). I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. My mom was a teacher and then an elementary school librarian (so I always have plenty of books in my class!).
This is my 16th year of teaching. I previously taught pre-K, kinder, first, second and fourth grades. Having taught other grades I can really focus my students learning since I know what will be expected of them in the future!
On March 14, 2011 my husband, JR, and I were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Galliano Maximilian, but everyone just calls him Max. He will be in 4th grade at Arlon Seay. On April 20, 2017 we welcomed our second son, Luca James and he keeps us on our toes!
