Hi! My name is Nadia Sharafeldin, students know me as Mrs. S. I am super excited to be the co-teacher in fifth grade! This will be my third year as a Special Education teacher on this grade level, however I have taught 5th grade in the past as a gen ed teacher. I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario and moved to Eagle Pass, Texas when I was 16 years old. I have four children, 2 boys and 2 girls, most of whom are NEISD graduates. My eldest son and eldest daughter graduated from Johnson High School in 2019 and 2023 respectively, and my second son graduated from LEE-STEM in 2021.In October of 2020 I was blessed with my second daughter, Noha. She has been our family's fun and joy!!

I got my undergraduate in Biology at UTSA and my Masters in Special Education at the University of Houston, Victoria!

This will be my 17th year of teaching and my 6th year in Special Education. Half of my teaching career was high school science, and I also coached Junior varsity basketball internationally. I look forward to meeting all my students for this upcoming school year!
