Ms. Puentes

I'm so excited for my 12th year teaching and sharing my love of art! Prior to joining the ISA family, I taught middle school art for in Southwest ISD.  In 2016, I completed my Master of Education in Educational Leadership at Trinity University, where I graduated with a Master of Arts in Teaching in 2013 and a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art in 2012.  I've exhibited my work in both San Antonio and Austin and it has been published in The San Antonio Express-News, San Antonio Current, and recognized in Art in America. In my free time, I serve on the boards of the San Antonio Art Education Association and Spare Parts, a nonprofit organization that advances reuse and sustainability through creativity and the arts.
