Ms. Elizabeth Gorski

Hello there! My name is Elizabeth Gorski, and I'm thrilled to return to the International School of the Americas as I begin my 12th year in education! My background is in English and administration. As an administrator, I missed the kids; as a teacher, I longed to bring more real-life experiences to my students, and now, I get the best of both!

I have experienced various school environments teaching in wide-reaching rural schools, very small city schools, and suburban schools larger than some college campuses - Reagan is the largest to date, however! These experiences have shaped me into the educator and leader I am today. While all the schools were vastly different, they reaffirmed my initial reasons for becoming an educator: ignite the passion for knowledge within each person I meet - student or colleague. I intend to aid my students in their learning styles and self-improvement while motivating them to become positive, compassionate, knowledgeable leaders and contributors to our communities.
