Policies and Procedures

  • Late Work:
Practice will be assigned almost every class period, and if it is not turned in that class period, it will be due at the beginning of class the following class period.  A 10% deduction will be taken off of the grade of late assignments turned in within one class day, and a 20% deduction will be taken if the assignment is more than a class day late.  If we have already discussed the assignment or graded assignments have already been returned to the class, then you have to come join me during office hours to complete and receive credit for the late assignment. Late work will not be accepted after the retake test deadline.

    Make-up Work:
It is your responsibility to complete any work missed due to an absence by the same number of days that you are out.  As a result, you should check-in during office hours to ensure you make-up what was missed as soon as possible.

    Revisions:
You may revise most practice assignments for up to 100% credit (unless it was late or submitted incomplete) as long as an error analysis is included.  Revisions will not be accepted after the retake test deadline.

    Retakes:
If time in a grading period permits, you may retake quizzes/tests on which you scored less than on 80, as long as all relevant formative assignments have been completed within a retake window of time.  The new quiz/test grade will replace the original grade, but an 80 is the maximum grade that will be recorded in the gradebook.
