Our Superintendent’s Awards are presented to individuals who go above and beyond normal expectations to support North East ISD’s mission.
Honorees can be employees, students, community partners, parents and volunteers.
On Dec. 12, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Sean Maika honored 106 individuals for their contributions to the NEISD community.
Among them was KIN employee Amanda Burnett who saved one her students from choking by performing the Heimlich Maneuver.
