Reagan Band dominates the Texas Marching Classic

Congratulations to the Reagan High School Band on winning the Texas Marching Classic on Oct. 14 at Kelly Reeves Stadium in Austin, Texas. Reagan competed against 22 other bands from across the state and won Outstanding Visual Performance, Outstanding Percussion and Outstanding Color Guard in preliminary competition, along with Outstanding Color Guard, Outstanding Music Performance, Outstanding Visual Performance and Outstanding General Effect in Finals on their way to a first place finish at the competition.

The Reagan Band will perform at the UIL Region Marching Contest on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Heroes Stadium at 5:45 p.m. Both the Johnson and Reagan bands will perform their entire competition show at halftime of the Reagan vs. Johnson football game on Oct. 27 at Heroes Stadium. The band’s final competition of the year is the Bands of America San Antonio Super Regional at the Alamodome on Nov. 3-4. Also, be sure to watch the band on television on Jan. 1 as they march in the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California!
