Original Story
Starting today (April 20), North East ISD elementary school campuses will offer free WiFi access points for students. This will provide students with daily internet access from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. These access points are being installed at each campus in phases and will be available near the front parking lot of the schools to provide easy access for students. All District-owned devices will connect automatically when in range. Students can also use their personal devices, but students must follow the directions here to connect.
NEISD wants to thank Brycomm and Layer 3 Communications for all their efforts in helping us get these systems set up so quickly.
Once elementary is finished, WiFi access points will be installed at NEISD middle and high schools.
