The Reagan High School marching band left Houston with several awards Saturday, Oct. 5. The Rattler Band was named class champion at the Bands of America Houston Regional contest. Reagan also won all of the preliminary competition’s caption awards, including Outstanding Visual Performance, Outstanding Music Performance and Outstanding General Effect.
Reagan was ultimately named Regional Champion in the finals and swept every caption award. The band currently holds the highest score in the nationwide Bands of America competition.
