NEISD Adult Education graduates receive diplomas

Eighteen graduates in the North East ISD Adult Education Program donned their blue caps and gowns to receive their Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency from the Texas Education Agency. Proud families, friends, and teachers celebrated this year’s graduating class, whose ages ranged from 17-51. The average student was 30-years-old. Each graduate had a different reason for enrolling in the program, but their journey was filled with the same pride and gratitude when they finally walked the stage on Friday, May 31.

JROTC cadets from Churchill High School led the presentation of colors with precision, while the Madison High School Brass Ensemble provided music and the traditional playing of “Pomp and Circumstance.” Congratulations to the Class of 2019!
