The Harvard Club of San Antonio recognized an exceptional teacher and student from MacArthur High School. Elie Zinsmeister received the Harvard Jr. Book Award, which goes to a high school junior who exhibits excellence in scholarship, high character, and achievements in other fields.
MacArthur English teacher Carolyn Karger received the Harvard Book Award for fostering excellence and character in her students. The San Antonio Harvard Prize Book Program is a joint effort of Harvard University’s Alumni Association and the Harvard Club of San Antonio.
