Roosevelt JROTC CyberPatriot team advances to Nationals

Roosevelt High School’s JROTC CyberPatriot team is moving on to the 2019 National Championship competition. The team excelled during four rounds of intense competition between October and February and finished first nationally in the All-Service Army division.

Out of 6,400 CyberPatriot teams across the country, only 12 in the All-Service division advance to nationals each year. The cadets on the team are enrolled and trained in the Engineering and Technologies Academy at Roosevelt. The team is led by coach Josh Beck from Roosevelt’s Engineering and Technology Academy (ETA).

The Roosevelt JROTC CyberPatriot team will compete at nationals in Baltimore, Maryland from April, 7-11. Congratulations to team members Fardeen Bhimani, Harrison Lewis, Samantha Peace, Tristan Lee, and Jacob Rahimi.
