North East ISD students at the Engineering & Technologies Academy (ETA) are celebrating the program’s 15th anniversary with a special project. Students in the graphic design and illustration class brought blue jeans, burlap, hay, gloves and other materials to create an entry for the 2018 San Antonio Botanical Garden Scarecrow Trail Contest. Their creation even features a homemade ETA t-shirt. The exhibit highlights creative and fun interpretations of scarecrows and the harvest season. The ETA scarecrow will be on display at the San Antonio Botanical Garden until Nov. 11.
