The Reagan High School Dance and Drill teams were treated to a master class from professional dancer and choreographer Chelsie Hightower. You may recognize her from her stint on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and ‘So You Think You Can Dance.’
Hightower taught the Reagan dancers a new routine on Saturday, Sept. 15, allowing them the opportunity for a hands-on lesson from a professional with years of dance experience. Reagan Dance Director Valeria Sisson says learning from someone as talented as Hightower was special.
“It is rare that opportunities to take a class with the likes of someone like this come up,” said Sisson. “NEISD truly allows these once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to happen and we are so fortunate.”
