The Reagan High School Wind Ensemble is celebrating two prestigious honors. The talented group of musicians have been recognized as a national winner in the 6A division of the 2018 Mark of Excellence National Wind Band Honors Project. Reagan is one of 10 high school wind ensembles in the nation to receive this honor.
The Reagan Wind Ensemble has also accepted an invitation to perform at the 72nd annual Midwest Clinic International Band, Orchestra, and Music Conference in Chicago, Illinois this December. The group was selected for this prestigious event after submitting recordings of the ensemble performing in March. Reagan was selected out of a record number of applicants from across the country, and is only the second high school band from San Antonio to receive this invitation. The group is excited to be performing alongside some of the best middle school, high school, university and professional bands and orchestras in the world.
