Lucky number 100,000!
Lucky number 100,000! 🎉
The Mill Springs Cabin at Bradley Middle School received its 100,000th visitor this week, crossing an incredible milestone 26 years in the making.
Roan Forest Elementary School second grader Livija Williams was lucky number 100,000 and helped celebrate the milestone with balloons and a photo op.
Each year, NEISD elementary students take field trips to Mill Springs to enjoy an immersive Texas history experience like no other. The tours are led by Bradley students, which is another special feature of this one-of-a-kind learning opportunity.
The award-winning complex includes an 1800s cabin, general store, school house, trading post, museum and more. And it’s all located on the Bradley campus and run by students.
Want to see it for yourself? Join us for Flannel Fest at the Mill Springs Cabin on Friday, Dec. 6, from 5-7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Check out the Bradley cabin to learn more about the cabin complex.
