NEISD temporarily raises SPED substitute pay rates

North East ISD relies on our incredible substitutes to fill in and build relationships with students daily across our schools. They play a crucial role in relieving our teachers and keeping our school doors open.

The following temporary substitute pay rate increases have been approved for Special Education Teacher Substitutes and Special Education Instructional Assistants. Long-Term Special Education Substitutes are also receiving a pay increase for the remainder of the 2022 - 2023 school year.

In addition, the one-time $100 incentive that NEISD is offering all subs applies to any substitute teacher or paraprofessional who fills in for 20 days within a 9-week period. The 20 days do not have to be consecutive.
