As an educator, I feel that representing my campus at any time should be done with dedication. I have been teaching for 16 years, 10 of which have been at Jackson-Keller. Since joining the JK community, I have built relationships, supported teachers and students, and have learned a lot about myself. Having gone from teaching students in the classroom, to supporting teachers and students as a science instructional coach, I feel that I have had the chance to see education through different lenses. It is important to understand that as much as we support students, we as the teachers also need and cherish that support. I would be honored to represent Jackson-Keller as the Teacher of the Year.
