I'm originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, but I have now lived in San Antonio for 13 years and now call it my home.  I have been a teacher for six years of which all of them have been in the subject of Mathematics.  I began my teaching career in Corpus Christi as an 8th Grade Math Teacher.  The next year I taught 6th Grade Math.  In 2008 I decided to move to San Antonio.  My first position in San Antonio was teaching 5th Grade Math.  I then went back into middle school teaching 6th Grade Math.  In 2013, I became a mother to my only child.
