Mrs. Juanita Blackburn
My name is Juanita Blackburn, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Jackson-Keller Elementary School and call myself a “Jackson-Keller Jack Rabbit”!
I earned my Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio. As I continued my education journey, I earned my Master’s in Education from Texas State University. This is my 17th year with our wonderful district! My journey in education has all been at Roan Forest Elementary, another Dual-Language Campus.
I love the diverse educational opportunities that our district has to offer our students and families. I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with the students and staff at Jackson-Keller! I am not only a servant leader, but a lifelong learner! I cannot wait to work with all of the dedicated students, staff, and community here!
My husband and I are empty nesters (five sons) with a lively rottweiler, Thor! In our spare time, we love spending time with our children and grandchildren!
