¡Benvenidos a la clase de Ms. Ortega! 

Este año escolar cumpliré 13 años enseñando en la primaria. Soy primera generación, mis padres son de Mexico. Nací en McAllen, pero a los 10 años de edad nos movimos a vivir en San Antonio.  Tengo mi Bachelor Degree en Interdisciplinary Studies con mi certificado en EC-4 Bilingüe y como me encanta trabajar con los niños que me inspiro obtener mi maestría en educación preescolar. Tengo un hijo que está en la preparatoria y estoy muy orgullosa de él.  En mi tiempo libre me encanta pasármela con mi hijo y con mi familia aquí en San Antonio igual con mi familia de McAllen.  Me gustan los chocolates Hershey's con almendra y mi debida favorita es la Coca-Cola.  Estoy muy contenta comenzar es año como la maestra bilingüe de primer grado. 

Welcome to Ms. Ortega's class!

This school year I will be teaching 13 years in elementary school. I am first generation, my parents are from Mexico. I was born in McAllen, but at the age of 10, we moved to live in San Antonio. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with my certificate in EC-4 Bilingual and, because I love working with children, it inspired me to get my master's degree in early childhood education. I have a son who is in high school and I am very proud of him. In my spare time, I love spending time with my son and my family here in San Antonio as well as my family in McAllen. I like Hershey's chocolates with almonds and my absolute favorite is Coca-Cola. I am very excited about starting this year as the first grade bilingual teacher.
