Building the Future at Jackson-Keller for the 2023- 2024 School Year!

         This will be an exciting year for all of us here at Jackson-Keller.  This will be my ninth year teaching, as well as starting my 5th year teaching 5th grade. I've taught 4th grade previously for 4 years. I graduated from Texas A&M San Antonio in December 2015. Go Jaguars!!! I received my certificate in EC-6th grade with an ESL supplement. I graduated from UTSA in December 2020 with my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. 

         I was born in North Carolina but have lived in Texas ever since. I come from a rather larger family and have 6 brothers and sisters. I have 8 nieces and 7 nephews. I have a fur-baby who turned 13 years old at the end of August and his name is Pongo. 

       In addition to teaching 5th Grade, I help sponsor our Student Council. It’s always inspiring to work with student leaders on various service projects throughout the year.

      I was nominated and chosen as the 2021-2022 Campus Teacher of the Year.
