    Serving Grades Pre-K through 5

Welcome to Oak Grove Elementary School. The small school with the big heart.

    Mission

At Oak Grove we understand that each child brings unique gifts and strengths to school each day. We are committed to revealing these unique gifts. We teach students how to combine these strengths with hard work to accomplish their goals and provide a positive contribution to the community. We believe in approaching and working with each child on an individual basis and advocate for each to be at their best. We know that they are our future leaders and need to have the tools to be successful. We provide a dual language program that offers students a diverse opportunity to discover new passions. The program offers instruction for native English speakers and native Spanish speakers in both languages. We are a proud Leader In Me School, teaching our students the seven habits of highly effective people. This gives them confidence, independence, and self-reliance. Our students understand they can’t control everything, so we empower them to change and control what they can.

    Vision

"Work Hard, Have Fun, & Be Nice." Our students follow the 7 Habits throughout the school climate.

    Educational Approach

We believe in approaching and working with each child on an individual basis and advocate for each to be at their best.  We know that they are our future Leaders and need to have the tools to be successful.

Our staff and student work ethic helped SMART technologies select an Oak Grove class as the subject of a case study on the benefits of SMART technology implementation. Oak Grove Panthers use their academic, social, and healthy living skills to lead in any college, career, and community.

  • Our Cluster

Welcome to the MacArthur Cluster in the North East Independent School District. As a Oak Grove Elementary School student, your child will establish a passion, curiosity, and foundation for life-long learning while nurturing their social and emotional skills. Outside of the classroom, your child can embrace what they love or try something new through diverse clubs, programs and organizations.

Your child will discover even more opportunities at Garner and Driscoll Middle School. As their academic foundation expands in the classroom, their circle of friends and experiences will grow through new opportunities in Athletics, Fine Arts, Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, competitive UIL contests, and more.

At MacArthur High School, your child will excel academically and socially while embracing beloved Brahma traditions with memories that will last a lifetime. Your child has the freedom and support to pursue their passions in a variety of programs, organizations, and clubs – from Athletics to JROTC, Band, Dance, PALS, Photography, UIL, and much more. MacArthur is proud to be the only Dual Language high school in NEISD with thriving bilingual, bi-literate, and bicultural students. MacArthur is also home to NEISD’s unique magnet program MacUP. These future educators get a head start as a UTSA student and can graduate with more than 50 hours of college credit that goes toward their teaching degree.

There’s so much to discover in the MacArthur cluster. Thank you for choosing NEISD.”
