Hi! Michael Lehman is my name and teaching is my game. I truly believe, I have chosen the greatest profession there is, and that's "Teaching." I have been teaching for nineteen years. The first four years has been in a Special Education classroom environment known as Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD) Kindergarten grade level. The fifth year was in a Second grade Resource/Content Mastery classroom in the content areas of Reading, Language Arts, Handwriting, and Mathematics and a Third grade Mathematics Inclusion classroom environment. My sixth year was in a Fifth grade Resource/Content Mastery classroom in the content areas of Reading, Language Arts, Handwriting, and Mathematics and a Second grade Mathematics Resource class. My seventh and eighth year was in a Fourth and Fifth grade Resource/Content Mastery classroom in the content areas of Reading, Language Arts, Handwriting, and Mathematics. My ninth through fifthteenth years have been in a fifth grade regular education classroom.  Sixteenth through Nineteenth years have been in a second grade regular education classroom.  For school year 2017-2018, I will be teaching a second grade regular education classroom. 

I received a Bachelors of Business Administration degree at the Unversity of Texas at Austin. I received my Teacher Certification in Generic Special Education and Self-Contained grades 1 - 8 from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

I am a native Texan and have lived in San Antonio all my life.  I am very happily married and have two beautiful daughters and one handsome son.  My favorite "likes" are Dr. Seuss books, M&M's, and cinnamon coated yams. My "dislikes" are clowns that frown, Pork & Beans, and sardines. My hobbies include fishing, boating, and bowling.
