I grew up about 55 miles south of Houston in Lake Jackson, Texas. I'm a proud Army Veteran, military spouse of 23 years, and mother of 2 wonderful daughters. Our oldest lives in Tennessee and our youngest is a junior at Auburn University. As a military family, we have lived in Kansas, Georgia, Hawaii, and other cities across Texas. This will be 12th year working in the education system, with this being my 10th year in NEISD. I received my Bachelor's degree from Columbia College, and I'm certified to teach 4th-8th grade and Special Education.

I enjoy traveling, playing golf, shopping and spending time with my family and friends.
