Bus Riders
Consult the NEISD bus route for bus schedules, numbers and times. Eligible bus riders will receive a "bus tag" to attach to their backpack.
BUS TAGS ARE MANDATORY. Replacement bus tags may be purchased from the HF office for $2.00.
Students may only ride the bus they are assigned and get off only at their stop. A student who is not eligible to ride the bus may not ride a school bus.
Drop-Off
Parents may drop students off curbside by using either the West Loop (Bus/Gym Area) or the East Loop (Horseshoe) beginning at 7:00 am. Our staff will be outside to guide and direct children.
For safety reasons, students must exit the vehicle on the passenger side ONLY. Please practice buckling/unbuckling seatbelts to help with this process.
If you are walking students, you may use the West or East Loop entrances to drop students off at the door. Parents who wish to walk their children in must sign in no later than 7:15 am.
AII visitors must exit the building by 7:20 am. Only volunteers will be admitted after the 7:30 am bell.
Pick-Up
Parents must notify teachers before the first day of class about how their child(ren) will go home. Daycare and school bus riders will be dismissed through the Bus Loop.
Walkers students who walk home will be dismissed through the library doors near the kinder playground.
Students who are in KIN will go and be picked up in the cafeteria. If you are in need of the KIN program or have questions, please contact them at 210-407-0140.
Dismissal for car riders is ONLY done through the horseshoe. DO NOT EXIT YOUR VEHICLE, and students will be placed in the car on the passenger side ONLY.
Please be sure car seats and other items do not hinder this process.
Students will be given a car tag in their backpack on the first day. If an extra tag is needed, please notify your child's teacher. Please mark student's name, grade and teacher BOLDLY so it is easily seen through the front car window. Do not remove your car tag until your child is safely in the vehicle. Students will be walked out to the car by a staff member.
