I grew up about 55 miles south of Houston in Lake Jackson, Texas. I'm a proud Army Veteran, military spouse of 18 years, and mother of 2 wonderful daughters. As a military family, we have lived in Kansas, Georgia, Hawaii, and other cities across Texas. I've work in the education system for over 10 years, with this being my 7th year at Hardy Oak. I received my Bachelor's degree from Columbia College and I'm certified to teach 4th-8th grade and Special Education.

In the spring time, you'll find me at the track cheering on my daughter. Kalynn is a sophomore at the Univeristy of Oklahoma and Alyssa is a Senior on the Reagan High School Girls Track Team. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends.
