Oak Grove ..... Still writing our story!

         This will be an exciting year for all of us here at Oak Grove.  This will be my tenth year teaching and my first year here at Oak Grove. This is my first year teaching 3rd grade. Previously, I taught 5 years in 5th grade and 4 years in 4th grade. I graduated from Texas A&M San Antonio in December 2015. Go Jaguars!!! I received my certificate in EC-6th grade with an ESL supplement. I graduated from UTSA in December 2020 with my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. 

         I was born in North Carolina but have lived in Texas ever since. I come from a rather larger family and have 6 brothers and sisters. I have 8 nieces and 7 nephews. I have a fur-baby who turned 14 years old in August and his name is Pongo. Fun fact about Ms. Born is I actually attended Oak Grove for Pre-K. 

       I was nominated and chosen as the 2021-2022 Campus Teacher of the Year.
