Book lovers, it’s time for one of your favorite events of the year.
The annual PTA Used Book Sale is back at Littleton Gym this weekend. The North East ISD Council of PTAs works hard to pack the gym with thousands of books, CDs, DVDs and records at affordable prices. Funds raised from this event go right back to NEISD schools. So please stop by to shop and support our students, teachers and PTAs this weekend.
Next week, Littleton Gym will transform into an art gallery at our annual Young Masters Art Exhibit. Original art by our elementary students will be on display Tuesday, March 28, and Thursday, March 30, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Parents and guardians will be able to “purchase" student artwork for as little as $1 as a donation to our NEISD Memorial Art Scholarship fund. Students whose art is purchased will receive a Certificate of Sale during the show, in recognition of their contribution to the Memorial Art Scholarship fund.
If you can’t make it to Young Masters this week, I hope you can stop by the Night Gallery Art Exhibit on Tuesday, April 4, or Wednesday, April 5. Art by our talented middle and high school students will be on display both days from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. inside Littleton Gym.
At Night Gallery, guests will be able to purchase "red dots" for 25 cents to place on artwork that they like throughout the show. Cash, check, Venmo, and Cash App payments will be accepted at both events. All donations go directly to our NEISD Memorial Art Scholarship fund, which helps support NEISD students in their future artistic endeavors.

Para los amantes de los libros, es hora de uno de sus eventos favoritos del año.
La venta anual de libros usados de la PTA está de vuelta en Littleton Gym este fin de semana. El North East ISD Council of PTAS trabaja arduamente para llenar el gimnasio con miles de libros, CD, DVD y discos a precios accesibles. Los fondos recaudados de este evento van directamente a las escuelas de NEISD. Así que por favor pase a comprar y apoyar a nuestros estudiantes, maestros y PTAs este fin de semana.
La próxima semana, Littleton Gym se transformará en una galería de arte en nuestra exposición anual de arte Young Masters. La piezas de arte original de nuestros estudiantes de primaria estará en exhibición el martes 28 de marzo y el jueves 30 de marzo, de 5:30 a 7:30 p.m. Los padres y tutores podrán "comprar" obras de arte de los estudiantes por tan solo $ 1 como una donación a nuestro fondo de Becas de Arte Memorial de NEISD. Los estudiantes cuyo arte se compre recibirán un Certificado de Venta durante el espectáculo, en reconocimiento a su contribución al fondo de Becas de Arte Memorial.
Si no puedes asistir a Young Masters esta semana, espero que puedas pasar por la exposición de arte Night Gallery el martes 4 de abril o el miércoles 5 de abril. El arte de nuestros talentosos estudiantes de secundaria y preparatoria estará en exhibición los dos días de 5:30 a 7:30 p.m. dentro de Littleton Gym.
En Night Gallery, los invitados podrán comprar "puntos rojos" por 25 centavos para colocar en obras de arte que les gusten durante todo el espectáculo. Se aceptarán pagos en efectivo, cheques, Venmo y Cash App en ambos eventos. Todas las donaciones van directamente a nuestro fondo de Becas de NEISD Memorial Art, que ayuda a apoyar a los estudiantes de NEISD en sus futuros esfuerzos artísticos.
