Chosen provides parent education, mentoring, therapy, and intensive case management to foster, relative, and adoptive families to help children heal by strengthening families. 

PEARLS provides therapeutic care, gender responsive services, and life skill training for female adolescents, ages 14-18, who have been placed in Foster Care. 

Day 1 Bags is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing NEW bags and backpacks to non-profits and government agencies in the Foster Care or aged out Foster Care population.  Day 1 Bags served over 5,000 teens in 2020, providing them with complete bags and a wish card - FOR FREE.  Click on Day 1 Bags for more information.

Preparation for Adult Living pdf (PAL) provides benefits and services for students who are over 18 and have been in Foster Care.  PAL contact staff for students is also listed.

The Foster Care College Tuition (pdf) provides information regarding college tuition and fee waiver eligibility for foster care students attending Texas universities and colleges. Ask your counselor for contact information and more details.
